Collection: Hurricane Helene Support

A letter from Lydia-

Hurricane Helene has devastated many cities and towns in the southeast, including where we live in Asheville, NC. l am so thankful to be physically safe and have an undamaged home. My personal art studio in the River Arts District did flood, and I sadly lost some treasured work, but am so thankful for what I was able to salvage. The incessant emergency sirens and helicopters, as well as no electricity or running water in our home since the storm hit, have led us to evacuate to West Virginia to stay with family. Thankfully, I was able to evacuate all the soaps with us, and I am hoping to continue to send out online orders, with the support of y'all. With the rich maker's market and tourism economies of Asheville now being devastated, the future is so uncertain for my business, and so many others who have built our livelihoods here. I am not able to make new soaps at this time, but would love to sell the current stock I have, and have set up the site to accept gift card sales as well. Any sale will be encouraging and helpful.

50% of profits from sales of this special emergency Bundle will be donated to various direct relief efforts including Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund and Asheville's River Arts District Association Foundation, and possibly more.

Bundle includes bestsellers Orange Clove, Bergamot Pine, and a surprise unreleased mystery soap: Soapmaker's Special.

Your purchase not only directly supports my local business in a time where the future is so uncertain, but also artists who lost their life's work in Asheville and folks in rural areas who are not getting the same media coverage as the larger cities who have lost just as much. Until further notice, orders will ship from our evacuation location in West Virginia. Thank you.

Doing my best to Stay Shiny,

Lydia
